Greetings from the East,

Wow! What a summer it has been. The community involvement programs were highly successful, with nothing but compliments concerning the Night Out Against Crime and the River Fest CHIPs events. The success of these events falls fully on the brethren and their participation.

The months of September and October may prove to be busy months and I encourage everyone to participate in some way. The summer events and Web site have generated a lot of interest in Bothell Masons; as a result we have several new petitions and more than a few prospects waiting in the wings. Now is the time to step up and learn those parts and help with the education and mentoring of these prospective new brothers. This fall we will begin an emphasis on Masonic education not just for the new Mason but all Masons.

The September 17th meeting is dedicated to the Past Masters of Ashler Lodge please come out and honor them with us.

Greetings from the West,

Brethren I welcome you back from another summer of successful programs. Music in the Park brought many new brothers together and our fellowship nights brought out many brothers as well as several new prospects. We have a few brothers that really enjoy cribbage so I am looking forward to rematches with them.

Our next street clean-up is Saturday, September 19th. We always start with a hardy breakfast at Steve’s prior to heading out and I hope to see you there.
