Trestleboard ASHLER LODGE November 2009
Greetings from the East,
Brethren, I can’t believe the year is coming to a close so fast. We have accomplished much as a lodge this year. There is still much to do, we should never be satisfied with what we have accomplished; instead we should be continually seeking to improve what we have and how we do things as masons and as a lodge. I look forward to the coming year not as a time of rest and relaxation from my year as master but as an opportunity to help the new master improve and grow the lodge. Throughout the year I emphasized participation and I hope that the brethren will take this with them into the next year. It is through participation that we all learn and grow in masonry and as individuals. It is my hope that you all will find some way to participate in masonry where ever you may be and consequently improve yourself and the fraternity.
Fraternally,
Ronald Swasey
Worshipful Master

Greetings from the West,
Brethren, together we have had an amazing year. I offer up hardy congratulations to the Worshipful Master and Brethren for all the programs that have brought us closer together both inside and outside of the lodge room. The future is bright and I look forward to our years together as brothers.
Our next street clean-up is Saturday, November 21st and I hope to see all of you there. Don’t forget that we always start with a hardy breakfast at Steve’s prior to heading out. Also, there is a practice for installation scheduled just after street clean up so it will be a busy morning.
Fraternally,
Richard Beers
Senior Warden

Greetings from the South,
Brethren, thank you all for your participation throughout this past year in both our community activities and lodge activities. It has been wonderful getting to know more of our brethren who have not been able to attend lodge through our Fellowship Evenings held on various Saturday evenings throughout the year which has also given us an opportunity to meet new petitioners who have started to join our lodge. We look forward to continuing this new tradition that everyone has enjoyed immensely and I hope you can join us for future events.
Please join us for Elections on the 19th to play an active part in shaping the future of your lodge. We have had an amazing year and we plan on continuing those activities that both the community and lodge enjoy and appreciate. We also look forward to new opportunities in growing Masonic education to help all brethren feel confident in their knowledge of the Craft. It’s a great day to be a Mason!
Fraternally,
Chris Haynes, Junior Warden
