Trestleboard           ASHLER LODGE          June 2009

Greetings from the East,

Ashler Lodge is almost busier when we are ‘dark’ than during the rest of the year. July and August will be filled with various lodge supported events. We will have our own self made float in this year’s 4th of July Parade. In addition to the parade, Music in the Park will be happening every Friday night, July 10th – August 21st.  CHIPs booths will be run at National Night Out Against Crime, August 4th and  River Days, August 23rd. Please contact our WB Joe Gifford, and let him know what days you will be able to participate. These events help strengthen Masonry in our community and grow our lodge. Please do your part to help make them successful.

Greetings from the West,

Masonry is a participatory organization and boy have you all been participating.  We have had all sorts of events so far this year and I am excited to see all the brothers coming together to make things happen.

We’ve had several 1st degrees as well as raising a brother.  And we have several candidates close behind him so we do not expect the pace to let up.

We had a great turn out for May’s street clean up.  The sun was shining and everyone had a good time.  Remember, Ashler Lodge is almost busier when we are ‘dark’ than during the rest of the year.

I want to thank every brother for helping to make Ashler lodge such a great place to be and encourage everyone, especially our brothers who we don’t see as often as we would like to make time on their calendars to see what the lodge is up to next.

Fraternally,

Greetings from the South,

Ashler lodge has been developing more ways for everyone to stay connected with the Lodge and the community through the website www.bothellmasons.org and new developments coming through Facebook. We have also installed high-speed internet at the Temple for presentations and communicating with the community.

Our last Fellowship night in May was a great success. Please email or call me at 206-353-0134 if you would like to personally receive notices for future Fellowship nights.
